A Cause on FaceBook is a way for users to support an organization or issue. Anyone can create a cause, and the creator can choose a nonprofit for whom to fundraise.

To Create a Cause:

1. Log in to tyour FaceBook account.
2. On the left hand side, under Applications, click on "Causes"
3. Click on the button near the top right, "Start a Cause"
4. Fill out all the information - don't miss the "select a beneficiary" link at the top. Note: the beneficiarymust be a registered 501c3 nonprofit.
5. Once completed, this cause will be listed in your FaceBook profile.
6. You can easily invite any of your FaceBook Friends to join your cause.
